Passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday July 20, 2022 at the age of 90. Devoted husband of the late Maria Cristina. Proud father of Lina (Emilio) and Angela (George). Cherished Nonno of Kristin (Elvio), Elissa, Sara and Nicole. Great Nonno of Mason and Elyse. Mario will be sadly missed by his many family and friends.

Mario has been reunited with the love of his life Maria Cristina.

He will be fondly remembered as a loyal, calm and hard working man who always put his family first. No one would bring a smile to his face like the grand and great grandchildren.
A master upholsterer who took pride in his craftsmanship. Mario made furniture for his girls, this furniture would last forever.

He was a devoted Toronto Maple Leafs fan, he also enjoyed the Blue Jays. Mario now has the best seats in house to watch his beloved Leafs.

Family and friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home 4671 hwy 7, Woodbridge (just west of Pine Valley Dr.) on Monday 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. A mass will be held on Tuesday July 26, 2022 at 9:30 a.m. at All Saints Parish 1415 Royal York Rd., Etobicoke. Private family entombment to follow.


Family has requested for all guests to wear a mask during both visitation and funeral.
