Mario Ernesto Chavez

Passed away at home at the age of 66. Proud father of Mario and Cristina. Cherished Abuelo of Angelica, Enrique, Mario, Arturo, Orlando, Victoria, Elias, Joel and Lucas. Loving brother of Carlos, Victor, Orlando and Blanca Luz. He will be sadly missed by his many family and friends. Mario has been reunited with his loving parents Victor and Beatriz.
Mario was always the life of the party. He would enjoy a few drinks and laughs with his friends. He lived up to his reputation of being a woman’s man. Where there were women, there would be Mario striking up a conversation in hopes of a dance or two.
Mario kept fit with exercise, MMA, boxing and of course dancing.
Family was everything to Mario, nothing would bring a smile to his face like the radiant one that would appear when the grandchildren were around. Family and holiday meals were always special, with family and friends around the table enjoying Mario’s cooking.

Family and friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home 4671 Hwy 7, Woodbridge (just west of Pine Valley Dr.) on Friday from 5-8 p.m. A funeral mass will be held on Saturday October 8, 2022 at 9:30 a.m. at St. Peter’s Church 100 Bainbridge Ave., Woodbridge. Interment to follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
