Mario passed away peacefully on February 25, 2025 after a long battle with cancer. His spirit never wavered, inspiring all who witnessed his courage. 

We take solace that he is reunited in Heaven with family members who have passed before him. 

Born in the mountains just outside of Rome in Supino, Italy, he came to Canada and built his life as a Master Plumber and Gas Fitter.

Mario was a devoted father. He will be deeply missed by his daughter, his siblings, his nephews and nieces, his cousins, and his friends. 

A true outdoorsman, Mario enjoyed fishing and hunting. He was a great cook, enjoyed leatherworking, woodworking, and was incredibly handy. 

He will be remembered as loving, strong willed, generous, and funny. 

His kindness was felt by everyone who met him. He will be truly missed and we will carry him in our hearts forever.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in his name to the Canadian Cancer Society.
