Mario Adamo.
It is with great sadness we share the passing of Mario Adamo on December 18, 2015 at the age of seventy-nine. Born November 7, 1936 in Alcamo (TP), Sicilia, Mario courageously fought long and hard with cancer. His strong will to live, unwavering faith in God, and the love and prayers of family and friends carried him through his many sessions of chemotherapy and heroic battle. Married for 49 years, he will be forever missed by his loving wife Stella and cherished by his daughter Josie and son-in-law Frank. Proud Nonno to Giancarlo, Francesca, and Mia. His memory will be held dear in the hearts of his family and many friends. Visitations will take place at Ward Funeral Home Woodbridge on Sunday, December 20th from 6:00pm to 8:00pm and Monday December 21st from 2:00pm to 4:00pm and from 7:00pm to 9:00pm. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday December 22nd at 9:30 at Immaculate Conception Parish (300 Ansley Grove Rd, Woodbridge). Entombment will follow at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery and Mausoleum. (33 Memory Gardens Lane, North York) In honor of Mario, donations may be made to The Canadian Cancer Society.
