Marilyn passed away peacefully at home on the morning of Sunday, May 15th, 2022 with her family by her side. Marilyn was an avid classic car cruise enthusiast and for 45 years was a proud member of The Royal Canadian Legion Ladies Auxiliary. She consistently gave of her time volunteering and fundraising for many great causes within her community. Just a few include The Poppy Fund, Cruisin’ For a Cure, and Leave the Streets Behind – a program designed to assist homeless veterans procure adequate housing and supports to improve their quality of life. She is greatly missed by her husband of 41 years Peter, her daughters Chrystal (Jason) and Jolene (John), her grandchildren Bailey (predeceased 2016), Meghan (Jordan), Alexander, Joey, and Ashley (predeceased 2005), and her great-grandson Noah. She will forever be remembered in the hearts of those she loved, the lives of those she touched, and in the joy she shared. May her caring and giving spirit continue to forever shine bright and rest peacefully. At Marilyn’s request there will be no service or celebration of life. Instead, please keep her family in your minds and prayers during this difficult time.
