Marilyn Bertossi

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Marilyn Rose Bertossi (nee Clubley) on Saturday, October 5, 2024, aged 85, of Toronto. Marilyn was born on December 2, 1938 in York Township to the late Robert Edmund and Rosabel Mary (nee Park) Clubley.

Marilyn was the beloved wife of the late Marino; loving mother of Marissa (Al), Mirella (Marco) and the late Marina; cherished grandmother of Michael (Mike), Marc (Bianca), Nicholas, Patrick, Jake and Samantha; and treasured ‘baby’ sister of the late Ada (Ort), Jim (Winnie) and Robert (Joan).

Up until her passing, Marilyn maintained her grace, compassion, grit, wit, appreciation of Earth’s beauty, and love of family and friends. Moreover, she voiced gratitude for a life chalked full of delightful and varied experiences. She truly embodied the adage of a life well lived.

In Memoriam: Marilyn was a long-time supporter of The War Amps - committed to improving the quality of life for Canadian amputees. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Association, in Marilyn’s honour, would be momentously appreciated.
