Marie Earle

Passed away peacefully on February 25th, 2019, in her 89th year. She was born in 1930, in Manuels, CBS, NL. “The Rock” was so entwined in every little fibre of her being.


As a loving mother, she leaves to mourn her daughters, Michelle Decker (Gary), and Paula Earle (a daughter she devoted her entire life to; her little angel with the broken wings). She was the beloved Nanny of Michael (Nicolina), Stephen (Nini), Christopher (Kendra), and Julia; and Great Nan to Leah and Noah.


Predeceased by her parents Margaret and Robert Mercer, and her brothers and sisters, Nance Dwyer (Edward), Elizabeth Haas (William), Bridget Matthews, Patrick Mercer (Evelyn), and Leo Mercer (Lois).


She also leaves behind a special girl, loved like a daughter, Eileen Barnable.


Also left to mourn is a large circle of relatives and friends. Special mention to the following cousin, nieces, nephews, and sister-in-laws, who maintained a relationship over the years through phone calls, cards, and visits:

She will always be remembered for her tenacity, love, and generosity. She will forever be in our thoughts and prayers.
