Maria Vena

With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Maria, while surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, January 11, 2018; at the age of 90. She is now reunited with her late husband Nicola (2005). Beloved mother to Vito (Mary Jean) and Anna Maria. Cherished grandmother to David (Samantha), Christina (John Paul), Stephanie, Elena and Leanora. Dear great grandmother to Dante, Sebastian and Siena. Maria was a spiritual and devoted wife, mother and grandmother who loved family celebrations and could often be found enjoying her passion for cooking and spending quiet times in her garden. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends. Visitation will take place at Ward Funeral Home (4671 Highway #7) on Monday from 4-9 p.m. A funeral service will take place in the funeral home chapel on Tuesday, January 16, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Beechwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to C.A.M.H. would be appreciated.
