Maria Tiberi

Maria Tiberi (nee Garaci) was born October 26th, 1935 in Villa Rosa, Sicily, where she was one of the eldest sisters in a family of 13. She emigrated to Canada in 1960, where she became a hard-working seamstress, married the late Pasquale Tiberi in 1963 and had their son Elio Tiberi in 1964.
Elio later married Anna Provenzano and bore Maria’s grandchildren: Deanna and Joshua Tiberi. Maria was a loving wife, a cherished sister and a devoted mother and grandmother. Including her husband, she was predeceased by: her parents Michele and Grazia; her brothers Salvatore, Giuseppe (and wife Rosa) and Luigi; her sisters Rosa (and husband Cateno), Silvana (and husband Carmen) and Giacoma (and husband Bartolomeo).
She will be sincerely missed by her brothers Angelo (and wife Francesca) and Calogero (and wife Caterina), her sister Lucia (d. husband Salvatore), her son and daughter-in-law, her grandchildren and her nieces and nephews.
