It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Maria Tedeschi on December 12, 2024, in her 84th year with her loving family by her side. Maria was born in Arce, Frosinone, Italy on April 7, 1940, to Eleuterio and Lucia Maini. She will be greatly missed by her siblings Francesco (Vincenza), and Anna (Italo).

Maria was married to the love of her life, Bernardo, for 66 wonderful years, and together they had two beloved children who will miss her dearly, Silvio (Donna), and Laura (Francesco). Maria was a devoted Nonna to Ashley, Daniel, Michael and Julia. She will be fondly remembered by her nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.

Maria was known for her kindness, her spirit of giving and her warmth. She had an ability to make everyone feel welcomed and loved, her home was a place of comfort for everyone. We are deeply grateful for the precious gift of her life and all of the blessings she brought into our lives. She lived a life devoted to her family who were everything to her and loved them dearly. Maria enjoyed baking sweets, bread and pasta for her family and friends in her spare time.

Family and friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home (4671 Highway 7, Woodbridge) on Monday, December 16th, 2024, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, December 17th, 2024, at St. David’s Parish (2601 Major MacKenzie Dr West, Maple) at 9:30 a.m. Entombment to follow at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery.
