Maria Rosa Ruzic

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Maria Rosa Ruzic, at the age of 76. 

Rosa was a loving wife to Cipriano for 58 years and a devoted mother to her sons, Edward (Jennifer) and Albert (Sonia). Cherished Nonna to her grandchildren, Alexander, Nicholas, Christian, Vienna, and Alessandra. She is now reunited in heaven with her beloved parents, Natale and Mafalda. She is survived by her sisters, Giuliana and Adrianna, her brother Giorgio, as well as her nieces and nephews.

Rosa loved and took great pride in each of her five grandchildren. She found great joy in gardening, tending to her flowers, and was renowned for her cooking. An active member of the Istra Učka Club, Rosa spent weekends at the club cooking, baking, playing cards, and spending time with dear friends. She mastered numerous Candy Crush levels and enjoyed watching The Young and the Restless throughout her years.Her warmth, love, and caring nature will be remembered by all who knew her.

The family of Maria Rosa Ruzic would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the Dorothy Ley Hospice staff for their outstanding care, dedication, and support. 

Friends and family are invited to attend a visitation held on Thursday, February 13, 2025, from 2-4pm and 6-8pm at the Ward Funeral Home in Woodbridge. A mass will be held on Friday, February 14, 2025, at 1pm in the Ward Funeral Home Woodbridge Chapel. Burial to follow at Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery.
