Margaret Vicente passed away peacefully on September 8th, 2021. She was born on November 11, 1930, in the northern mountain town of Mirandela, Portugal. She grew up in Lisbon and married Luis Vicente who predeceased her in 1979. The couple immigrated to Canada where they raised three sons.
Margaret was a professional hairdresser. She enjoyed spending time in prayer, sang in the church choir and volunteered at the local food bank. Her many years of service to the community was recognized by the City of Brampton in 2009.
She is survived by her brother and sister in Portugal, her three sons and their families, which include six grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.
