It is with heavy hearts the family announces the passing of Maria on Thursday January 13th, 2022 at Sunnybrook Hospital, Toronto, at the age of 78. She is now reunited with her loving husband Egidio.

Devoted mother of Tony, Sandra (Pat) and Tania. Proud nonna to Francessco. Survived by her sister Assunta, sister in-laws and brother in-laws.

She will be sadly missed by her many nieces and nephews, entire extended family and dear friends. Over the days she was surrounded by her loving family. We take comfort that she is now at peace.

Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, 4671 Highway 7, Woodbridge on Friday, January 21st, from 4-9 p.m. To safely manage and adhere to current social distancing requirements, please RSVP for the visitation. Wearing of masks or face coverings by everyone remains mandatory as per provincial regulations.

A funeral mass will take place on Saturday, January 22nd at 9:45 a.m. at St. Peters Catholic Church in Woodbridge. No viewing will take place on the day of the funeral.
