Maria Giuffre

Passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday December 7, 2022 at the age of 87. Devoted wife of the late Giuseppe. Proud mother of Joe, Vince and Lucy. Cherished Nonna of Natasha (Robert), Agostino, Michelle and Joseph. Loving Great Nonna of Isabella and Antonio. Maria will be sadly missed by her many family and friends. Maria has been reunited with the love of her life, Guiseppe.
She will be fondly remembered for her love of her family. Nothing would bring a smile to her face as the one that would appear when her grand and great grand children were around. Family and holidays dinners were always enjoyed around the family table. Maria was an amazing cook, she would make everything from scratch from her rice balls to homemade bread.
Maria and Giuseppe loved to entertain. The family home was an open house for all those who were close to them.
For entertainment Maria enjoyed the slots at the Casino and playing cards with her friends.

Family and friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home 4671 Hwy 7, Woodbridge (just west of Pine Valley Dr.) on Saturday December 10, 2022 from 11 a.m. till service time at 1 p.m. Interment to follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
