Maria Fatima Estrela

Passed away peacefully, at Brampton Civic Hospital on Monday, May 2, 2021 at the age of 70. Beloved wife of Jose for 53 years. Loving mother of Lidia Mendes (John), Lucy Estrela and Teresa Estrela. Sadly missed by grandchildren Joseph, Ryan and Joshua Mendes. Survived by sister Lucia Pereira (Alberto). Fondly remembered by her nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. Maria will be forever missed by all her extended family and friends.

Visitation will be held at the Ward Funeral Home 52 Main Street South Brampton on Friday, May 7, 2021 from 4-8 p.m. Effective March 15th, 2021, as per the mandate of the Bereavement Authority and to safely manage the adhere to social distancing requirements, please RSVP for the visitation.

Wearing of masks or face coverings by everyone is mandatory as per the Provincial Regulations.

Funeral Mass will be held at St. Mary's Church 86 Main Street South Brampton on Saturday at 1:00 p.m. Private Entombment.

As an expression of sympathy donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
