Maria Eduarda Oliveira passed away peacefully on April 1st, 2024, at the age of 82, surrounded by her loved ones. A felicitous farewell for a woman who was a constant source and beacon of comfort and love for others. 

First and foremost a caring mother and devoted wife, Maria was also a hard-working woman and an accomplished seamstress. She was an artist with a needle and thread, capable of achieving a remarkable level of detail, precision, and perfection in every item of clothing she created, an impressive feat to which many would gladly attest. Maria also held a great deal of passion for gardening, the fruits of this labour often being a wonder to behold. 

Maria’s diligence however was most notable in the care and attention she gave to her family. She was a truly selfless woman who did not hesitate to put the needs of others before her own, and she did so with unwavering kindness and affection. Ask anyone who knew Maria, and they’d tell you just how much their lives were made brighter by her mere presence. Her delightful smile and contagious laughter live on in cherished memories that won’t soon be forgotten. 

Maria is survived by her husband, Alberto, her three children, Guilherme (Bill), Margarida, and Dina, as well as her four grandchildren, four great grandchildren, and two brothers
