You are reunited now with your one true love
He has opened his arms for you and
You are once again
together just as you wished
You have spent 64 years
And then you lost your Beloved Husband just a little over two months ago
As much as we hurt you hurt much more
A part of you went with him when he passed
You suffered without him
And yet you wore a smile and had a strength and warmth that embraced us
But inside your heart was slowly dying
Until you said good bye to us and the pain of your sorrow has come to an end
Maria had an infectious smile, a heart of gold and love for her family like no other. She opened her arms and her home to all and has given us so many treasured memories filled with so much love, food, laughter and true dedication to family.
Her amazing rum cakes (that made you drunk), her homemade pasta, Gnocchi was a favourite, scorpelli, cookies as the list goes on and on.
She loved when her door opened and people filled her home, she was in her element and surrounded by everyone she loved, that is what made her happy. She was a simple shepherd girl who loved what truly mattered, one with great knowledge and who we have learned so much from and may we all take comfort from the beautiful memories she has left us.
