Maria D'Amico

Maria Giovanna D'Amico, Passed away peacefully, with grace and dignity at William Osler Health Centre, surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, February 3, 2010 in her 94th year. Giovanna has been reunited with her loving husband Angelo, her son-in-law Ivano Sartor, her parents Alessandro and Camilla, her sister Lucia and brother Michael. Cherished and devoted mother of Mary and Richard Grosso, Sandra and Bruce Fogarty, Benny and Diane D'Amico, Camille and Anthony Spadacini, Carol and Anthony DiFlorio and Josie Sartor. Loving and devoted Nana to Richard (Enza), Ronald (Patricia), Enzo (Daniela), Angelo (Rosa), Mark, Jennifer, Lisa (Mark), Louis (Mary Lynne), Angela (Carlo), Andrea (Maurizio) and Louis (Julie). Cherished and adored great- grandmother of John Lucas, Matthew, Eric, Kyle, Benjamin, Celina, Gabriela, Lucas, Alexander, Victoria, Julia, Matthew, Alyssa, Adrian, Alessia, Nicole and George. She will be sadly missed by her friend Joseph Ghegin, as well as her many nieces, nephews and close friends. Our mother was the embodiment of unconditional love, loving her children, grandchildren and great- grandchildren above all else. She treated everyone who touched her life with kindness and respect.
