Maria Cristina Vecchiarelli

VECCHIARELLI, Maria Cristina- September 29 1920 passed away peacefully on her 93rd year on February 22 2014, surrounded by her loving son Frank (Nicky) and granddaughter Stephanie. Predeceased by her husband Giovanni and daughters Lucia and Antoniette. Cristina will be fondly remembered by her cherished grandson Michael (Rita) and great grandchildren Marc and Victoria. Appreciation is extended for the loving care and compassion shown by the wonderful nursing staff and volunteers at the Villa Colombo Vaughan, especially those in the Guizzetti and Golini wing. Maria Cristina is also survived by her daughter Mary (Genaro) and grandchildren Lisa (Robert), Danny and Steven. Her vibrant spirit and determination gave her the strength to overcome her many hardships and appreciate that life was truly like a box of chocolates, “you never know what you are going to get.”
