Maria Carducci

Passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side on Tuesday March 1, 2022 in her 92nd year. Devoted wife of the late Eleuterio. Proud mother of Lida (late Sergio) and Luisiana (Peter). Cherished Nonna of Christine (Stephen), Julie (Dave), Leanne (James), Deandra (Andrew) and Olivia (Erik). Loving Great Nonna of Tyler, Brody, Logan, Kylie, Evan and Connor. Dear sister of Gabriella (late Oreste), Rosanna (late Angelo), Liliana (Alipio) and Emilia (Gabriele). She will be sadly missed by her many nieces and nephews and her extended family and friends here in Canada and Italy. Maria has been reunited with the love of her life Eleuterio, parents Vincenzo and Antonia and oldest sister Silvana (Mario).
She will be fondly remembered for her love of her family. The children would always bring a radiant smile to her face. She always enjoyed baking and cooking for her family. Maria would spend many hours knitting and crocheting baby blankets for all her babies over the years. Playing tombola (Bingo) always kept her sharp.
Our family would like to express our sincere gratitude to mom’s personal care givers Hakima and Nancy as well as the staff at Cortellucci Vaughan Hospital.
