Peacefully at home with her loving family at her side on Tuesday February 23rd, 2021 at the age 67. Beloved wife of José for 44 wonderful years. Loving mother of Marilyn and her husband Tiziano, Michele and her husband Anthony and Juliana and her husband Kristopher. Cherished Avó of Maya, Madeleine, Ava, James, Michael, Lauren, Evelyn, Charlotte and David. Margarida will be fondly remembered by her sister Mira and her husband Dusko and many other brothers and sisters in Portugal and Brazil.

Family and friends will be received at Ward Funeral Home on Sunday February 28th, 2021 from 4 -8 pm.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Immaculate Conception parish on Monday March 1, 2021 at 9:30 am. You may RSVP in the service section, if you wish to attend the funeral mass.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Princess Margaret Hospital would be appreciated by the family.
In accordance with the February 22, 2021 directives from the Municipality of York Region, Services can be held within the funeral home, accommodating no more individuals than 30% occupancy of our visitation rooms and/or Chapel.

Funeral services being held in a church or place of worship allow for a maximum of 30% building occupancy.

Wearing of masks or face coverings by everyone is mandatory as per the Provincial Regulations.

Respecting the current situation and pandemic restrictions, the entombment will be private.
