Margaret Wells

Margaret Eleanor Wells (nee Chappell) July 21, 1930-January 28, 2023

Peacefully, on January 28, 2023 Margaret Eleanor Wells of Etobicoke passed away at the age of 92. She was reunited with her husband Bob, brother Gordon, and sister June. Marg had a career in teaching before leaving to raise three strong and independent sons, Bruce (Catharine), Jeffrey (Janet), and Donald (Shelley).

Known to everyone as Mimi, she was an avid bridge and tennis player. Her family spent many wonderful years at the cottage on Lake Muskoka. She was blessed with eight wonderful grandchildren; Lauren (Jeff), Corey (Ryan), Paul, James, John, Leanne (JC), Beth (Kyle) and Kylie, as well as six great grandchildren: Hunter, Bennett, Frederick, Max, Sam and Claire.

We would like to thank the Credit River Retirement Residence as well as the Trillium Health Partners at the Credit Valley Hospital and the “M” site for their compassion and care during her stay. She will be deeply missed by all.

A private family memorial will be held at a later date.
