Margaret Simmonds

August 10, 1927 - November 29, 2013. Died peacefully while surrounded by family in Oakville, following a brief illness. Born in Burnley, Lancashire, U.K. Daughter of the late Edward and Evelyn Pollard. Devoted mother of David (Michelle), Christopher (Inga) and Fiona Ortiz (Darcy). Beloved and proud Nana of Erica, Jeremy, Niiti, Girish, Eliane, Hilary and Liam. Also loved by sister-in-law Pat deCarteret and late brother Fred Pollard. A celebration of Margaret’s life will be held on Sunday, December 8, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at the Harbour Banquet and Conference Centre, 2340 Ontario St., Bronte (905) 827 1315.
