McDONOUGH, Margaret Veronica (nee McErlain)
Peacefully at home on Tuesday March 18th, 2014 at the age of 86, with her family by her side. Beloved wife and best friend of James “Jim” for over 66 years.
Loving “mommy” of Sheila Gamna (Bud), Brian (Adriana), Colleen, Erin Smith (Brian), and Maureen Calaminici (Bege). Cherished grandma of Ryan (Michelle), Colin, Nicole (Jon), Sean, Erika, Brock, Amanda, Richard, and Paige. Great-grammie of Brenden, Caitlin, Ethan, and Saige.
Survived by her sisters Trea, Brenda, Bernadette, and her brothers James and Lawrence. Predeceased by her parents John and Bridget, her sister Sheila and her brothers Hugh, Shaun, and Malachy.
Margaret will be greatly missed and fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews, family, and friends. Margaret and Jim are longtime and faithful parishioners of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church.
Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, 2035 Weston Road (North of Lawrence Ave. W.) Weston, on Friday from 1-3 and 7-9pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 811 Lawrence Ave. W, Toronto at 10:30am on Saturday March 22, 2014. Interment to follow at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery.
