Knap, Margaret “Maggie”

Maggie Knap nee Lane passed away surrounded by her loving family at Sunnybrook Hospital on May 31, 2014. Beloved wife of M. Vincent. Loving mother of Danna Robbie, stepmother of Suzanne and step grandmother of Myles and Rex-Taylor. Loving sister to Carol Ann Johnson (Ron). Beloved aunt to several nieces and nephews.

In 2012 Maggie retired as Executive Director of York West Active Living Centre after 12yrs of dedicated and tireless service to the centre and her community.

In 2002 she received the Queen’s Golden Jubilee Medal for her exemplary community service.

A Celebration of life will be held at the York West Active Living Centre, 1901 Weston Road on Friday, June 6, 2014 from 1 to 3pm

In lieu of flowers and as a expression of sympathy, a charitable donation to York West Active Living Centre would be appreciated.
