Passed away peacefully after a brief illness, surrounded by his loving family on July 22, 2023 at the age of 87. Marcello will be greatly missed by his sister Enrica (Vittorio predeceased) and his brother John (Brenda predeceased). Marcello has been reunited with siblings Giannina (Osvaldo), Gina (Angelo) and Giorgio. Marcello's niece Ann (Raymond) and their children Matthew and Sarah, and his nephew Paul (Tiziana) and their children Lidia and Chloe in Canada will cherish his memory. Marcello's many nieces, nephews and relatives in Italy are saddened by his passing.

Marcello immigrated to Canada for a better life in 1953. He soon became an established bricklayer which he did from the time he arrived in Canada until his retirement. As a young man Marcello loved to dance. His grace and presence on the dance floor would attract the attention of many.

Marcello was a very social man who would enjoy excursions with his peers to places like Casino Rama for lunch and companionship.
