Manuel Gomes

With great sadness we announce the passing of Manuel Gomes on December 13, 2024. He is reunited in Heaven with his youngest son Lino Gomes. 

He is survived by his beloved wife of 57 years, Maria Gomes.

He will be dearly missed by his children, Lena Martins (Fernando Martins), John Gomes (Muna Abubeker) and Alda Gomes.

He was a proud devoted Grandfather to Tiago Martins, Joshua Da Silva (Tamara Sanchez), Jessica Da Silva (Shivam Munjal), Adam Gomes, Sabrina Gomes, Kaysar Gomes, Colin Freire, Siera Oliveira (Arthur Oliveira), Leia Gomes, Maia Gomes and Isaac Gomes. As well as his great Grandson, Hayden Oliveira. 

Manuel’s great love was his family. Nothing brought him more joy than gathering together and telling his family stories of his childhood and the life he lived growing up in Portugal. The moments of love and laughter remain a cherished memory of his spirit.

He will be deeply missed and will be held in the hearts of his family, relatives and friends. 

His warmth, sense of humour and love will be forever engraved in our hearts!
