Suddenly, at Brampton Civic Hospital, on Thursday, June 2, 2022 at the age of 93. Beloved husband of the late Estrela De Melo (2018). Loving and cherished father of the late Jose, Berta Moniz (and the late Antonio), Louis, Teresa Medeiros (Eduardo). Lovingly remembered by grandchildren Steve (Christina), Helder (Jessica), Emma and Noah and by great-grandchildren Stella and Adilynn. Predeceased by all his brothers and sisters. Manuel came to Canada in 1954. He worked for many years for QNSL Railway until his retirement in 1990. Visitation will be held at the Ward Funeral Home (Brampton Chapel) 52 Main Street South, Brampton on Wednesday, June 8, 2022 from 4-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held from Our Lady of Fatima Church 101 Malta Avenue, Brampton on Thursday, June 9, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. Entombment at Assumption Catholic cemetery.
