Mary Alice Elizabeth Burt (nee Russell), 1931 -2022, passed away peacefully in her 91st year, with family by her side. Mae is predeceased by her husband Edward Burt. Mae is survived by her three children, Lorene, Ken (Kim), and Debbie. Mae is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 11 Great Grandchildren, and 1 Great Great Grandchild.

Mae spent a good part of her life in Brampton with her husband of 53 years. The last 14 years of her life in Kitchener.

Mae enjoyed bowling, Family Sunday dinners in her younger years. Mae was very involved with the Brampton Majorettes & Drum Corp, when her children were young.

She loved puttering around with her plants. Watching the Toronto Blue Jay games &Toronto Maple Leaf games.

The family would like to thank the St. Mary's Hospital for their wonderful care. The family will be having a service at Wards funeral home in Brampton, Friday September 2, 2022. Viewing from 10am-12pm, Service will be at 12pm . Procession burial to follow the Service, at Brampton Memorial Gardens In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke foundation.
