Madeline Matilda Aziz Dunn
February 1 1926 – September 27, 2014
A mother and wife who dedicated her life to her husband and her daughters
She knew adversity and vulnerability but lived her life with courage and determination
She taught through her example, forgiveness and loyalty
She lived almost 18 years after her husband George William Dunn passed away
During these years she grew and learned more about who she was as a woman and as a human being
She leaves behind her daughter Janice Knott, son in law Tom Knott, daughter Tanya Dunn and grandson Sterling James
Madeline also leaves behind her Peel Manor Family, especially in the Blue Jay wing
Words cannot express appreciation and gratitude for the years of friendship, compassion, companionship that the personal support workers, registered nursing staff, volunteers and fellow residents genuinely expressed to Madeline.
During the last couple of months, the front line staff on Blue Jay wing have become my constant source of support and comfort as my mother’s health deteriorated. I am eternally grateful for your empathy, your courage and compassion
To honour her memory please make a donation to the Canadian Diabetes Association in her name Peel Chapter
