Mabel passed away peacefully on Sunday November 20th at home surrounded by her family at the age of 95.

Predeceased by her husband Terry Smith, son Bruce Geary, her sisters Evelyn and Joyce and brother Ken. Loving mother to Peter (Tracy) and John (Janine). Proud and beloved grandmother to Julia. Cherished Aunt to Cindy. Mabel will be missed by family and friends.

Mabel was born on May 24th 1927 in Timmins Ontario. Mabel started an education in nursing and graduated in Oshawa in 1950. Mabel spent most of her career as a nurse at Toronto Western Hospital. Mabel married and had 3 sons that she adored. Mabel remarried to Terry Smith where they lived in Oshawa. In 2004, Mabel was so overjoyed to become a grandmother for the first time to her only grandchild Julia. She treasured spending time with her family on holidays and birthdays. She loved to walk every day and was quite involved in her church.

Her memory will never leave us and will live long in our hearts.
