Luigia slipped away quietly on September 25, 2014 at the age of 82 surrounded by her family.
Her smile and joy for life will be missed by all who knew her, especially her precious Danilo, husband of over 58 years, her brother Ferrante (Odina), sister Orestina (Enzo), sister in law Maria and their families in San Giorgio Di Nogaro, Italy. Her children Ivana (Larry), Paolo (Fabia), grandchildren Daniel, Catty, Sara (Kamil), Julia, Katerina, Jarred, Connor and Liam. A special thanks to staff and friends at Malton Village for their loving care and companionship.
Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, 2035 Weston Road (North of Lawrence Ave. W.) Weston, on Sunday from 2-4 & 6-9 PM.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at All Saints Church, 1415 Royal York Road, Etobicoke on Monday at 1 PM. Entombment to follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Woodbridge.
In lieu of flowers donations to the Heart & Stoke Foundation would be appreciated.
