It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Luigi Pastore. Luigi passed away on October 7, 2023 at Cortellucci Hospital. He was born to Rosaria & Carmine Pastore in Paterno Calabro, Calabria, Italy, on May 19, 1942.

Luigi is now reunited with his beloved wife Giovanna. He is the cherished father of Carmine (Laura), proud grandfather of Vincent, much loved brother of Marietta (Francesco), late Giovanni (late Angela), late Ida (late Giovanni), late Ippolito (Rita), Francesco (Assunta), Rosario (Maria) & late Aldo (Rosetta) and dear brother-in-law of Rosetta (late Julio), Angelo (Connie) and Adrianna (Roberto).

Luigi was an honest and hardworking man, who enjoyed spending time in his garden. He tended to his vegetables with such care, always showing his love by sharing what he grew with his family and friends. He was a man who was was exceptionally proud of his Italian heritage and always enjoyed listening to old Italian songs. Above all else he loved his family & always supported them. He will forever remain in the hearts of all who loved him.

Family and friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home (4671 Hwy 7, Woodbridge) on Wednesday, October 11, 2023, from 2:00-4:00 p.m. & 6:00-9:00 p.m. The funeral mass will be held at St. Peter’s Church (100 Bainbridge Ave., Woodbridge ) on Thursday, October 12, 2023, at 9:30 a.m. Entombment to follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
