Forever In Our Hearts

With his family by his side, Luigi passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 20, 2019 at the age of 67. He left us the only way he would have wanted: surrounded by his loved ones. He enjoyed food, drink, laughter and spending time with friends and family, especially his loving mother, Emilia. Luigi Caputo was born on Saturday, October 27, 1951 in Mendicino, Province of Cosenza, Calabria, Italy; he passed away in Toronto, Ontario, on Sunday, October 20, 2019. Luigi is reunited in heaven with his father, Francesco.

Cherished son of Emilia. Beloved brother of Carmela. Dear brother-in-law to Salvatore. Caring uncle to his niece Patrizia (Christian), and his nephews Paolo and Roberto. Known affectionately to his family and friends as Gino, he will be dearly and immensely missed by his entire extended family and all those whom he touched with his kindness and love.
