Born in Ariis, Udine, Italy, and made his home in Toronto, Canada. Beloved husband of Ida for 58 years. Loving father of Vivian (Renato Zanon) and Diane (John Moretto). Wonderful Nonno to Michael (Sylvia), Stephanie, Justin, and Erica. Gigi was an avid outdoorsman, and family always came first. He was a great friend to many and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Family and friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home 4671 Hwy 7, Woodbridge, (just west of Pine Valley Dr.) 905 851 9100 on Monday from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Clare of Assisi Parish, 150 St. Francis Ave, Woodbridge, on Tuesday, October 8, 2013 at 9:30am. Entombment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donation to Villa Leonardo Gambin, would be greatly appreciated by the family.
