The adage that “good people are remembered as a blessing” captures what her family, friends, and acquaintances celebrate about Lucy’s life.

Lucy passed away peacefully at the Chinook Care Centre Hospice in Calgary on Monday, June 23, 2014 at the age of 95.

Much loved by her late husband Leonard and her daughter Vera (Wayne) she was also beloved by her late sisters and late brothers, as well as by her nieces and nephews, and her extended family.

Special thanks to the supportive care staff at the Chinook Care Centre Hospice in Calgary for their kindness, compassion and thoughtfulness during her illness.

Friends may call at Ward Funeral Home, “ Woodbridge Chapel” 4671 Highway #7 Woodbridge (905-851-9100), on Saturday, July 12 from 12:00 – 1:00 p.m.

Funeral service will be held in the Chapel at 1:00 p.m.
