It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Luciana on Sunday, December 11, 2022 surrounded by her family at the Cortellucci Vaughan Hospital in her 85th year. Thank you to all of her care team; both at home and away from home.

Beloved wife of John for 65 years. Loving mother of Paul (Cindy), Dino (Lori), Julie (Dirk Boydens) and John (Daniela Ammendolia). Cherished Nonna of Stephen (Rachel), Liana (Jonmichael), Jaclyn (Christopher), Alice (Jules), John, Genevieve and great grandchildren Aubrey, Jade and Jackson. Dear sister of Graziano (Chiara) Favret.

Luciana devoted her life to her family. She had a smile that would light your soul, a sense of humour that always lightened your day, and an embrace that could heal your sorrow. This gentle woman of grace, strength and integrity will be forever loved and missed by all her extended family and friends. Her endless love has been and will continue to be a guide for us all.

Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, 2035 Weston Road (North of Lawrence Ave. W.) Weston, on Sunday from 2-4 p.m. & 6-9 p.m.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Philip Neri Church, 2100 Jane Street, Toronto on Monday at 10 a.m. Interment to follow at Beechwood Cemetery.
