Luciana Prosperi

Passed away peacefully with family by her side on Saturday October 12th, at the age of 80. Devoted wife of the late Ulderico. Proud and loving mother of Luigi (Adelina), Alberto (Ken) and Andrew (Mary). Cherished Nonna of Alexandra (Shayan), Luke and Ulderico. She will be greatly missed by her dear sister in-law Zia Bruna and her many family and friends.

Luciana has been reunited with the love of her life Ulderico and her siblings Anna, Ellis and Giuseppe.

Born in Italy to parents Anita and Turido on June 16, 1944.

Luciana met Ulderico while working, and the young couple married and they raised their three boys.

Luciana loved babysitting her grandchildren. She enjoyed nothing more than having her family around the dining room table enjoying her cooking and baking. The aromas that would radiate from her kitchen will stay with us forever.

Quite times were enjoyed knitting, everything from table top doylies to scarfs that we would wear with pride.

 “Forever loved, always remembered,”

Family and friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home-Woodbridge Chapel 4671 Hwy 7 (just west of Pine Valley Dr.) on Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Saturday October 19th, 2024 at 12 noon in the funeral home chapel. Cremation will follow. As expressions of sympathy donations to the Canadian Lung Association would be appreciated.
