Luciana Innes Moreal (nee Brocchini)

April 20, 1934 – February 25, 2024

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Luciana “Lucy” Moreal in her 89^th year. Luciana passed away surrounded by the love of her family on February 25, 2024. Luciana was born to Mariano and Maria Brocchini on April 20, 1934 in San Costanzo, Italy, and was one of five children. She has now been reunited with her parents, as well as her siblings Corrado, Tina and Gina.

Luciana has also been reunited with her devoted husband, Egidio, whom she married on October 8, 1955 and spent many wonderful years. Together they had two loving children, Anna and David. She was the beloved Nonna of Michelle. She will be fondly remembered by her sister, Rina.

Luciana spent her life dedicated to her family, always ensuring that they had full stomachs, and would go over and above with her meals. She loved to make homemade pastas, sew and tend to her vegetable garden when she could. Her greatest passion was raising her granddaughter Michelle and spending time with her family and friends. 

Friends and family will be received at the Ward Funeral Home (4671 Highway 7, Woodbridge) on Thursday, February 29, 2024 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday, March 1, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Parish (300 Ansley Grove Road, Woodbridge). Entombment to follow at Beechwood Cemetery.
