Lucian Cojocariu

It is our greatest sadness to announce the passing of Lucian Cojocariu on Friday, February 1, 2019 at the age of 85.
Lucian is survived by his wife, Eugenia, his two children, Anka and Mugur, and his two grandchildren Stephanie and Jacqueline and their mom Dora.
He passed surrounded by his loving family. Lucian loved spending his time outside, his favourite place was his garden. He loved to spend endless hours in the garden, he loved looking after flowers and tomatoes and worked outside in the garden every day. He loved to read, play with the kids and look after his family. He spent his first years in Romania, where his family got its roots. He was a hard working engineer and a good friend to many of his Romanian colleagues. He travelled to Canada to visit a friend and that it’s how he fell in love with the country and inspired his son to move to Canada. He followed his son few years after with his wife, to be close to him and help his family. He will be greatly missed and remembered in every moment of our lives. Friends will have time at the Ward Funeral Home (2035 Weston Road, Toronto) on Friday Feb. 08 from 6-9 pm for visitation. A funeral mass will take place at the Ward Funeral Home Chapel on Feb.09 from 10:00 am. Interment to follow at Riverside Cemetery.
