LUCIA SURIANO (nee SPIZZIRRI)
BOLTON, ONTARIO

On March 29, 2022 Lucia passed peacefully at home with her loving family by her side.

Born on December 14, 1946, Laurignano, Province of Cosenza, Italy to the late Annunziato and Rosina Spizzirri.
Predeceased by her beloved husband Antonio. A caring loving Mother to Danny (Nancy) and Emily, and treasured Nonna to Simona, the light of her life.

She immigrated to Canada with her family at the age of 14.
The beginning of a new life filled with dreams, challenges, accomplishments and family traditions. Her home was a haven of strength, love, courage, acceptance, good times and delicious food.

Words cannot begin to describe the sorrowful emptiness in our hearts for the loss of our dear Lucia who lived selflessly devoted to what mattered the most – her family.

Lucia leaves behind her loving sisters Giuseppina Filice (late husband Domenico), Gilda Giordano (late husband Francesco), and her five brothers Igino (Franca), Dario (Carla), Nino (Rosina), Frank (Adelina) and Al (Marjorie), her brother in law Giuseppe Suriano (late wife Maria), and 22 nieces and nephews.
Fondly remembered by her many extended family members and friends near and far.

We will miss your warm smile, your caring soul and gentile ways.
