Lucia D'Angelo

Peacefully in the early morning of Friday, December 31, 2021, God called his beloved daughter Lucia D’Angelo into his kingdom where she was finally reunited after twenty-eight years with her beloved husband Nunzio.

Born in Roccamorice, Pescara in 1933 to parents Antonio Rosati and Anna DiPasquale.

Joined in holy matrimony on April 25, 1954 to Nunzio D’Angelo where together with their infant daughter ventured to a foreign land to build a better life and future.

Together in Canada they devoted their lives, and raised five children Livia, (Alberto), Frank, (Carmella) Rocco (Cathryn), Mario, (Amanda), Antonella, (Tony).

Devoted Nonna to Frank (Krista), Jessica, Amanda (Stuart), Stefanie (James), Lisa, Anthony (Emily), Derek, Tia (Johnny), Julian, Chloe, Cameron, Matthew, Keira, Christian.

Bisnonna, Great Grandmother to Alberto, Evan, Emma, Leah, Ellie, Collin, Sophie, Owen, Mason, Samantha, Aria, Katelynn, Oliver, Declan, and Isla Lucia.

Cherished sister, sister-in-law, and aunt to many nieces and nephews. She will be missed dearly by her extended family of caring and loving neighbours, and her many friends.

RIP for you have served us well.

Family and friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home On Monday from 4-8 p.m. A funeral mass will be held on Tuesday at 10:30 a.m, at Our Lady of the Airways Church 7407 Darcel Ave., Malton. Entombment to follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy donations to the Alzheimer's Society would be appreciated.
