It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Louise Janet Claridge (nee Wright) who left us in her 80th year on May 27, 2024. She was affectionately referred to as Dolly. Born to Charles & Josie Wright, in Nova Scotia, on August 20, 1944.
The cherished wife of the late Bruce for 41 wonderful years. Beloved mother of Roxane Iannelli (Fabio) and Robin Claridge-Ache (Joel). Adored Nana of Vanessa (Zach), Marco & Chloe. Dear sister of Don (Joan), Marie (Alfred), Diane (late Steve) & Pam (Andrew). Louise will be lovingly remembered by her extended family & friends.
She travelled from Nova Scotia to Toronto in 1965, where she met & later married her beloved husband, Bruce. Throughout her life, she provided unwavering support to her dear husband while he developed his businesses.
Her relationships were transformed by one component: love—the most essential ingredient for her time here on earth. Reflecting on Louise’s life brings a smile to those who knew her because she loved her family and those around her. Now in her absence, we find the inspiration to live as she did: with kindness, love, and a positive attitude. Louise had the most beautiful smile and an infectious laugh that would light up a room. She always made time for others and her wonderful zest for life will surely be missed.
Family and friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home (4671 Hwy 7, Woodbridge) on Friday, May 31, 2024, from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. and from 6:00 – 9:00 p.m.  Funeral service to be held in the Ward Chapel at 10:30 a.m. Entombment to follow at Beechwood Cemetery (7241 Jane St., Concord).
Her memory will be engraved in our hearts forever.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Arthritis Society of Canada or to the Canadian Lung Association.
