Louis Bacakos

Passed away peacefully at the age of 97 surrounded by his family on August 30th, 2024. He is now reunited with his beloved wife and best friend Stella. He was a loving father to Peter (Rose) and Paul (predeceased Mary). Cherished Pappou to Louie (Teresa) and Cassandra.

Louie was born in Petrina, Greece and moved to Canada in 1951 to establish a new life. He was a hard working, dedicated father and husband and always put his family first. Louie will be remembered for his love of hockey; cheering his sons on from behind the bench. He found so much joy in taking every opportunity to be apart of his sons lives as one of the guys. Louie adored his grandchildren dearly. He was kind hearted and welcomed the company of others. Everyone enjoyed his presence and will miss him dearly. 

Though Louie will be deeply missed, his family finds comfort knowing that he is at peace and reunited with his loved ones.
