Lorraine M. Reeves

With heavy hearts we announce the peaceful passing of Lorraine M. Reeves while surrounded by her family at Hill House Hospice on Saturday, November 17, 2018; at the age of 93. She is now reunited with her late husband Ken Reeves. Beloved mother of John (Grace), Terry (Lisa), Bob (Lisa) and Mary Jane (Peter). Cherished grandmother of JD (Ruth), Owen (Margaret), Jaimie, Christie, Peter John, Giorgia and Adam. Devoted great-grandmother of Asher and Liora. Our mum was a hard working and devoted family person. Whether it was family dinners, time with her beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren, or her "8 o'clock church group", she loved being social and loved being around people. Along with her "life partner in every way", Ken, they created the family business and labour of love known as "Reeves Florist & Nursery" in Woodbridge. Many people in her life were touched by her open heart and welcoming personality. She will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered by many friends and family near and far. The family wish to extend special thanks to the staff at MacKenzie Health, Hill House Hospice and all of the wonderful people who provided dedicated and compassionate care to our mum. Visitation will take place at the Ward Funeral Home (4671 Highway #7, Woodbridge) on Tuesday from 2-4 & 6-9 p.m. A funeral service will take place at Christ Church Woodbridge (8045 Islington Avenue) on Wednesday, November 21, 2018 at 11: 00 a.m.. Cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations to either Christ Church Woodbridge or Hill House Hospice would be appreciated.
