Lorne Thomas Henry Smith

It is with much sadness and sorrow we announce the passing of Lorne in his 73rd year.

Much loved husband of Darlene Crouse. Cherished father of Kimberly, Michael, Danny (deceased), Ryan and Laura (James). Stepfather to Amanda and Travis. Grandpa to Maddie, Lydon, Noah, Ava, Jamieson, Patrick and Johnny. Stepgrandpa to Haley, Hannah, Quinn and Emma. Beloved brother of Linda, Laura (Dawn), Lonny and Larry. Remembered with love by Mary Jane, Kim, Don and Patsy, plus a large extended family of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.

We will miss his stories about the many adventures and misadventures of his work travels throughout Canada and the U.S. during which time he met Darlene. Lorne enjoyed playing cards (as long as he was winning), darts and pool as well as golf games with his buddies. He loved a good time! Lots of jokes, sometimes at his own expense. He was always there if anyone needed a helping hand. All you had to do was ask.

Celebration of Life will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion - Branch 15, 80 Mary Street, Brampton on Thursday January 30, 2025 from 1:00 - 5:00 p.m. 

A second memorial gathering will be held on Saturday February 1st, 2025 at 3:00 p.m. a The Ivy Bridge Pub, 160 Main Street South (inside the Brampton Mall), Brampton.
