“Sorrow comes in great waves...but it rolls over us, and though it may almost smother us, it passes and we remain.”
Loreto Fallone, a full of life, loving, fun spirited family man died with his family by his side, on March 16, 2020 at Humber River hospital just 2 days shy of his 94th birthday from complications stemming from a stomach ulcer. He is survived by his wife Michelina; his children Mary (husband Silvano) and Anna (husband Dennis); and his three grandchildren Steve (wife Krista and their daughter Penelope), Robby (wife Natassha and their daughter Stella) and Nicholas (fiancée Jessica).
He was born March 18, 1926 in Casalvieri, Frosinone, Italy. He came to Canada as a young man with his brothers in pursuit of a better life for himself and his family. He brought with him the values of faith in God, hard work, love of family and self reliance - these core values would forge bright futures for his daughters and his grandchildren. He lived a modest and happy life in his home at 37 Yelland drive in Weston, ON. It was here, at his home, that he loved nothing more than family gatherings, where we’d share a home cooked meal, some wine and he would entertain us all with his contagious humour.
Nonno - We love you dearly, we will miss you always and we will always remember all the laughter you gave us.
