It is with great sadness our family announces the passing of our beloved Lola at the age of 91 years old. She passed away peacefully surrounded by her children John and his wife Cathy, Lola and her husband Ken. Lola was cherished by her wonderful grandchildren Kyle (Rita), Nicole (Nathan), and Jessica (Jon). She was also dearly loved by her six great grandchildren Emma, Faith, Ava, Jack, Liam and Ryder. We will all miss her kind gentle ways and her warm smile.   She will also be missed by our family dogs, Brodie, Sadie and Riley.
Family was the most important part of her life. She enjoyed sitting back and embracing the memories, whether at her home or the many summer get togethers at the family cottage in Parry Sound. Lola was an avid Toronto Maple Leafs fan and loved her Nascar races as well. She was a woman of simple needs and was just content to be in the presence of her family. Lola was a very giving person with a heart of gold and always saw the good in others. Lola has been reunited with the love of her life, Peter.
God has her in his arms but we will forever have her in our hearts.
Thanks to the Niagara Palliative Care Team and the wonderful staff and volunteers at McNally House for their incredible care and compassion during Lola's courageous battle.
