Lois Bell

Lois Ann Bell passed away on January 29, 2023 at the age of 72. She was born in Guelph, ON on June 6, 1950, lived her childhood in Brampton, ON and resided in Mississauga for over 50 years.

Lois worked as an Elementary Educator for the Peel School Board prior to having her children at which time she became the CEO of the Bell household. Lois was an exceptional wife and mother who cared deeply for her family. She was a volunteer on the many school trips with her children and was a member of the Streetsville bowling league for 10 years. Lois had a green thumb which she used to care for many plants and loved to travel to beaches. Knowing and loving her has been our joy and privilege. She was one of a kind, beautiful, generous, possessed a brilliant sense of humour, and a glittering spirit that everyone loved. She will be deeply missed by all.

Lois is preceded in death by her parents, Helen and Nile Beckthold. She is survived by her husband Robert “Bob” Bell, daughter Crystal (Corey) Cheek, son Ryan (Jennifer) Bell, and 4 grandchildren: Everly Cheek, Hunter Cheek, Blake Bell, and Hayley Bell.

The service will be a private event with only close family and friends present.

Donations in her memory may be made to either the Canadian Cancer Society or the Trillium Health Partners Foundation; Trillium Giving Credit Valley Hospital.
