Lloyd Ellis

It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Lloyd Ellis at Etobicoke General Hospital. He was in his 89th year and will be deeply missed by the love of his life, Lenora, to whom he had been happily married for over 66 years. He will be lovingly remembered by his children Dave Ellis (Susan), Donna MacMillan (Jim), Doug Ellis (Jeannette), Debbie Bromley (Steve) and Denise Smith (Brian). Lloyd’s spirit of optimism and his generosity will always be remembered by his eleven grandchildren: Trudy Lamontagne, Mike Ellis, Kevin Ellis, Katherine Ellis, Ken Ellis, Jason Waite, Rebecca Bromley, Robert Bromley, Katie Bromley, Kyle Smith, and Shawn Smith. His six great grandchildren were always showered with love and with numerous gifts. Liam and Mariah, David and Daniel, and McKenna and Matthew were lucky to have him as their great grandfather. Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, 2035 Weston Road (North of Lawrence Ave. W.) Weston on Monday, March 19th from 2-4pm and 7-9 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Nativity of our Lord R.C Church on Tuesday, March 20th, 2012. Time to be determined. Interment to follow at Assumption Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Covenant House or the charity of your choice.
